SimonedeBeauvoir was a french philosopher, professor and writer. She is important because she fought for equal women rights . Without her, our lives would be more difficult today.

Taylor Swift inspires me most! She is hardworking, kind, strong and talented. She has been working since she was 14, she has worked very hard to get where she is today. Her talent is inspiring, she plays many instruments, sings well and she is a great songwriter! Taylor has always highlighted how important kindness is. She visits hospitals, gives advices to her fans and only talks good about people. She loves her friends and fans. She surrounds herself with good people and she is not afraid to be herself.

My inspiration is Sabiha Gökçen. Because she is one of the first female pilots in the world and the first female fighter jet pilot. It has demolished the sexist approach to the pilot profession.

Josephine Cochrane is an inspiration for all women. She was born on 8th March,1839. Cochrane was a rich woman who liked organizing food parties, but she never washed the dishes. Her servants did it for her. Even though she never washed the dishes, she wanted to invent a machine which can do it faster without breaking any plates. She decided that she will do it,and she did it too. After inventing the washing machine, she decided to establish a company and named it "Cochrane".

Hypatia was a famous philosopher, astronomer and mathematican. She was a teacher in Alexandra Library. She is really important for us because she was first women to develop philosophy and mathematic. If you wondered to her life you can watch ''Agora''. This movie abouth her life.

Emily Murphy inspires me because she has changed the law of women rights. She became the first female judge of the British Empire. In 1927,four other Canadian women joined forces to study Canadian law.

Frida is characterized by breaking the image of the submissive woman dedicated to the home. Also for his revolutionary activism, for his sexual freedom, and for touching in his work taboo themes of the time such as pain, abortion, heartbreak. She is the symbol of women who suffer since much of Frida's life was accompanied by pain. All about her are embodied in her spectacular art.

Lydia is a spanish athlete, specifically from our province León, from El Bierzo. She competes in weightlifting and has been a two time world champion and four time European champion. She also won gold at the 2012 London Olympics, silver at Beijing 2008 and bronze at Río de Janeiro 2016. She's a great inspiration to me.

My inspiration is Katherine Coleman, she was a black woman. She was a physicist, mathematician and scientist at NACA (NASA). She became known as the "human calculator" since she worked doing the operations. She worked on the Mercury Proyect, she did all the operations to get the first American into space and she wasn't recognized for it.

Pianist and composer of the 19th century. She was a great concert performer of romanticism, who enjoyed almost the same recognition as the greats of her time: Chopin, Liszt, Schubert ... She married Robert Schumann. Her real name is Clara Weick. It is important because, although at first her husband did not want her to continue giving concerts, she never gave up her passion. In fact, if her husband's work is so well known today, it was thanks to Clara's concerts. He himself recognized that in music, she overshadowed him.

My inspiration is Clara Campoamor, the first woman politician in Spain and one of the first in Europe. Her humble childhood made her drop out of school to contribute to her family´s economy, but years later, she turned into the first ever graduate at law school, breaking a huge barrier for meek people and specially for women. Her politic career started in 1931, being one of the most important advocates for equality. In my opinion, she is one of the most important figures in Spain´s history despite not being the most known, and we have to thank her for opening so many doors and being such a strong women in a sexist society.

All of the sharings about the inspirational women are great. They are really amazing. My inspirational woman is Rosa Parks. She is an African American civil rights activist. She helped initiate the civil rights movement in the United States when she refused to give up her seat to a white man on a Montgomery, Alabama bus in 1955. Parks became a nationally recognized symbol of dignity and strength in the struggle to end entrenched racial segregation.

She is my inspirational woman...

Born two centuries ago, Ada Lovelace was a pioneer of computing science. She took part in writing the first published program and was a computing visionary, recognizing for the first time that computers could do much more than just calculations.

Lady Ada, the daughter of British poet Lord Byron, was a 19th century woman of many talents but with a particular leaning towards mathematics. She is commonly regarded as the world’s first programmer based on her work with Charles Babbage on his Analytical Engine. Her choice to study and specialize in the science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) disciplines was highly exceptional for a woman in 19th century England, but she had an excellent role model in her mother, Anne Isabella (Milbanke) Byron. Lady Byron was herself a woman of high intellect with a passion for mathematics – Lord Byron called her the “Princess of Parallelograms” – and she strongly encouraged Ada in her studies.

Feryal Özel is a professor at the university of Arizona in Tucson. She has been working for NASA and she was the first person who released the first image of a black hole.

Dorothy Hodgkin was a Nobel Prize-winning British chemist who advanced the technique of X-ray crystallography to determine the structure of biomolecules, which became an essential tool in structural biology.

Among her most influential discoveries are the confirmation of the structure of penicillin as previously surmised by Edward Abraham and Ernst Boris Chain; and the structure of vitamin B12, for which in 1964 she became the third woman to win the Nobel Prize in Chemistry. Hodgkin also elucidated the structure of insulin in 1969 after 35 years of work.

Hedy Lamarr was a very beautiful actress from 1933. She had an envidiable glamour, but this caused her other abilities to be eclipsed. She had a privileged brain and was the author of a communicatios system on wich all the existing technologies at that time are base. Inventing was her true passion. Her favorite subject was chemistry and from an early age she became interested in technology, wich she adored. Years later, she developed a parellel telecommunications career.

My inspiration is Kamala Harris, she's the first female vice president, the highest-ranking female elected official in U.S. history, and the first African-American and first Asian-American vice president. She was the first Black woman to be elected district attorney of San Francisco and she also served as the attorney general of California from 2011 to 2017, becoming the first woman, first Black and South Asian American to serve as California's attorney general. All these merits have made her an example to follow and a huge inspiration.
