Russian Writer, Literary. His full name is Lev Nikolayevich Tolstoy (B. September 9, 1828, Moscow / Russia - D. November 20, 1910, Astapovo / Russia). He was born in a mansion named Yasnaya Polyana in the city of Tula, south of Moscow, as a child of a wealthy and noble family.He lost his mother and then his father at a very young age. He started living with his relatives. He improved his French at a young age, reading Voltaire and J. J. Rousseau. It was under the influence of these two authors. He wrote his first work, My Childhood, when he joined the peasants in Yasnaya-Polyana. After a while, he joined the army and went to the Caucasus. He observed the poverty-filled lives of the people there. His first realistic stories were formed during this period thanks to these observations.Tolstoy, whose story began at these times revealed its current literary side, is a writer who represented the realist literary movement. The author, whose educational and philosopher aspects are also predominant, has always reflected the moral life philosophy in his works. Both Tolstoy's life and works have been bumpy.The great loss of literature Tolstoy died of pneumonia on 20 November 1910 at the age of 82 at a train station in Astapovo.
